This role is available for applicants in Melbourne About the role We are looking for an experienced, mature minded, customer focused sales professional to work across our education-based prospects in nominated international and domestic markets – located in our head office in Camberwell. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate a history of measurable outbound sales goals in an automated sales environment. You’ll need to be a self-starter, enthusiastic, yet patient with clientele, organised and results driven, to succeed in this role. You will naturally display a high level of communication – particularly effective listening skills, writing skills and have a demonstrated ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities. You will also have experience proactively maintaining a client sales database. Previous sales experience in the B2B sector is essential. About you We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional who has: Proven success in lead nurturing and sales target achievement. Previous experience making high volume outbound calls. To love the thrill of cold calling and sourcing acquisitions and new business. Strong phone presence and demonstrated resilience to be on the phone all day. A love of building rapport with customers and identifying their needs and interests. A passion for educational technology. Very strong interpersonal skills. Emotional intelligence. Amazing time management. What you will be doing Achieve prospect qualification and sales targets. Source new sales opportunities through lead follow up, outbound cold calls and emails. Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest. Understand customer needs and requirements through discovery calls. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Team members for further development and closure. Manage the Salesforce CRM system to ensure all activity is recorded and manage leads through to successful handover to the Sales Team. Assist with performing effective online demos to prospects when required. Use analytical tools and engagement reports to provide the Sales Team with detailed status reports of your ongoing interactions with prospects and supporting them towards a successful sales transition.
