Subprocessor List

A subprocessor is a third party data processor engaged by us who has or potentially will have access to or process Your Data (which may contain Personal Information as defined in our Privacy Policy and our General Terms).

Schoolbox requires any subprocessors who support delivery of Schoolbox services (see below) to satisfy equivalent obligations as those required from Schoolbox in its role (as a data processor) as set out in our Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”).

As at the date of this document, the following is a list of the names and locations of Schoolbox’s subprocessors in both the production environment (where your Schoolbox Services are hosted) and also in the non-production, operational environment used by our internal teams that support our delivery of our Services.

Please note, that not all of these subprocessors will be present across all of our Services. For example, our Hosted (cloud) Services will differ from our On-Premise Services, and some will only apply based on the plan and bundled Services that each plan includes.

Subprocessors who support delivery of Schoolbox Services

The processors below are used to support the Schoolbox Service.

Subprocessors who support our internal operations

The subprocessors below provide services to support our internal teams (customer support and engagement, sales and marketing, accounts and billing, technical and professional services) with their processes and workflows in providing you the Services.

Integration with other Third Party Services

Schoolbox administrators may choose to connect their Schoolbox instance to other services or external tools. A few examples of these include:

• Student Information Systems (SIS)
• Various digital classroom tools
• Analytics solutions
• Video conferencing system

In many of these cases, the setup of the tool or service may require the exchange of some of Your Data with Schoolbox.

For example:

• Your school’s system administrator, might enable an integration with a third party analytics solution. This system might require a large amount of Your Data to be accessed by this third party in order to provide the intended analytics reporting.
• Your school’s system administrator may enable a video/content tool to your Schoolbox instance using the LTI standard. This tool would then be available to all teachers and students, who might need to let this tool receive a limited amount of student information in order to work properly.
• Your school might licence one of the third party Services that we make available for our customers to purchase, and configure in combination with your school’s administrator and our team. This third party service might require access to Your Data.

Before purchasing and utilising these services, and integrating them with Schoolbox, it’s important that you have performed your own due diligence by reviewing the service’s terms of business, data security and privacy policies to ensure they meet your requirements. This is further covered under our General Terms.

As such, any of Your Data that you choose to exchange with these processors is done so based on your own legal agreements with the third party as a Data Controller.
